Cooking Classes

Gleaner’s Cooking Matters 

Twelve lucky students were chosen by their teachers to practice cooking with a Gleaner’s Chef and Nutritionist. The cooking class is held every Friday from 9 -11 a.m. for six weeks on Fridays from February 28 through April  3, 2020. This session's first class featured Barley Jambalaya. 

Curriculum includes: 

  • Tips & tricks to eat well
  • Shop smart & save money
  • Free cookbook with easy-to-prepare recipes
  • Free weekly groceries to cook the class recipe at home 
  • Free graduation certificate & prizes upon completion.
