Eight PBIS Medals

Eight PBIS Behavior Medals for school safety, structure for learning and staff connectedness were awarded to Hazel Park Schools by the Michigan Department of Education in December for demonstrating strong outcomes and/or making progress toward meeting the needs of each and every learner through a multi-tiered framework. The three areas that have shown the most growth were school safety, structure for learning and staff connectedness.

  • Advantage Alternative Program was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
  • Edison School was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
  • Hazel Park High School was awarded a Silver Medal for Behavior.
  • Hazel Park Junior High was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
  • Hoover Elementary was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
  • Jardon Vocational School was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
  • United Oaks Elementary was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
  • Webb Elementary School was awarded a Bronze medal for Behavior.
