About United Oaks
Welcome to United Oaks Elementary, home of the United Oaks Eagles, where we SOAR to success. At United Oaks, we support the district’s vision of “empowering and inspiring all learners to achieve excellence grounded in a safe, orderly, and respectful environment.”
Teachers and staff strive to build connections with our students to enhance student learning and participation in our school community. Our staff works diligently to help students know they are valued in our school community.
We welcome our school families as equal partners in education and encourage you to join us for the multiple school events we host and/or to volunteer in our school. It takes many hands to make a school run smoothly and we always welcome those with a willing spirit to join in. The United Oaks PTA supports our school in many ways and has events throughout the year. We would like to invite you to join our United Oaks PTA and get involved in our school community. This year we are fortunate to have a newly revised curriculum that affords our teachers new and inventive ways to teach to your child’s strengths. Our 1:1 technology allows our students to learn in innovative ways and prepares them for 21st-century learning.
At United Oaks, we strive to promote a positive culture by recognizing the positive words and actions we notice in our students. We focus on Safe and Healthy, On task behavior, Always Respectful, and Responsibility (S.O.A.R.). We celebrate those characteristics during our monthly S.O.A.R. celebrations and meet as a learning community on the first Monday morning of each month. Along with our monthly community-building assemblies and activities, we will be hosting a monthly after-school Kindness Club activity for students who have demonstrated exceptional kindness toward others.
