Oakland County Teacher of the Year Awards

Once again, Hazel Park Schools will be participating in the Oakland County Outstanding Teacher of the Year Awards.  This award recognizes an elementary, middle/junior high and high school teacher of Oakland County.  In all, three teachers will be selected to receive the Oakland County Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award that includes a cash prize and a recognition event at Oakland Schools on Monday, May 6, 2019.

Eligibility - Nominees must be certified, full-time teachers in grades Kindergarten-12, who are employed in a public school in Oakland County.  Nominees MUST HAVE a minimum of five (5) full years of classroom teaching experience.  Ancillary district personnel, such as social workers, counselors, or media specialists (unless they are full-time certified teachers) are not eligible for this award.  If a teacher has been nominated for this award in the past five years, he/she is not eligible to be nominated this year.
